Québec City, December 8, 2017. – The Loop, the new duty free store at Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB), will open its doors to passengers early on Monday morning, December 11, 2017. Aer Rianta International (ARI), a company that operates duty free stores around the world, will help improve the passenger shopping experience at YQB.
"A renewed retail environment is a key component in the YQB 2018 project. Our passengers are looking forward to discovering their new airport and we can feel excitement growing in the community," says Gaëtan Gagné, president and CEO of YQB. "Aer Rianta International was chosen to operate the duty free store at YQB because it offers a range of products that reflects trends in airports around the world while showcasing more local items," he adds.
The new duty free store will quadruple in size, from 100 m2 to 400 m2. Aer Rianta International has invested over a million dollars in the new layout, which will feature an array of luxury products, from makeup, perfume, sunglasses and accessories to a wide selection of wines and spirits.

Passengers will have a vast range of whiskies to choose from in our Whisky Collection that are ideal for the collector and passengers who are gifting.
