Québec City, March 2, 2017 – Aéroport de Québec inc. (AQi) board chair André Fortin and president and CEO Gaëtan Gagné today released the company’s 2016 Annual Report at the AQi Annual General Meeting.

For the fifteenth straight year, 2016 saw significant growth but also an unparalleled level of trust in our organization and ongoing projects on the part of passengers and the general public.

Up to 70 additional flights per week — A plus for passengers

This decision has strengthened WestJet’s position and made it more competitive while meeting the needs of passengers in the greater Québec City area.

YQB U.S. customs preclearance facility takes a new stride forward

Quebec, December 12, 2016 –  The U.S. customs preclearance opportunity has taken a major step forward with the United States Congress adopting a bill that will facilitate its implementation.

This critical step results from the March 10, 2016, meeting between American President Barack Obama and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau when they “committed to make our borders more open and more secure”, notably by expanding preclearance at Jean Lesage International Airport in Quebec City.
