After several years of planning and two summers of intense work, the runway repairs at Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB) are now complete.

Québec City, July 5, 2017 – When the new international terminal building opens next December, the retail space in the new infrastructures at Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB) will be operated by four concession holders.

To ensure the safety of all passengers, Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB) needs to complete a series of runway repairs.
From May 23 to August 9, 2017, the main runway (06-24) will be entirely rebuilt.

Once work on the YQB 2018 project has been completed, Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB) will provide a model of sustainable development for the airport industry. This is because as part of its plan to extend the international terminal, Aéroport de Québec Inc. (AQi) set itself some ambitious energy-saving targets.
