YQB wins an Élixir award for the second year running

Québec City, December 4, 2018. – Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB) has received an award for its communications management during the project to extend and improve the layout of the international terminal. The Élixir PMI award was presented yesterday evening at a ceremony organized by the Québec Association of Professionals in Project Management (PMI-Montréal). This is the airport's second Élixir award, following an award received in 2017 for the quality of its project office.

Québec City, November 29, 2018 – The vision and incredible accomplishments of Gaëtan Gagné, President and CEO of Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB), have been recognized during the Tourism Industry Association of Canada’s Canadian Tourism Awards (TIAC). This year’s ceremony was held at the Hilton Lac‑Leamy in Gatineau. Mr. Gagné won the WestJet Airport Innovation and Excellence Award in recognition of his hard work and dedication to the tourism and airport industries.

In order to ensure a smooth transition and allow the organization the time it needs to find his successor, Mr. Gagné will remain in office through a transition period once the new President and CEO has been named.
