Nourcy Unveils a Brand-New Concept at YQB

Québec City, January 14th, 2024 — Nourcy is proud to announce the opening of a concept exclusive to Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB): Nourcy café traiteur. Starting in winter 2025, the terminal’s public area will have more for passengers, their companions, and airport employees to enjoy. In addition to its beloved café concept and ready-to-heat meal service, the restaurant will also offer an alcoholic beverage menu for travellers who would like to share a drink with loved ones either before their flight or upon arriving in Québec City.

Air Transat Takes Off to Tulum from Montreal and Québec City

Montreal, December 23, 2024 – Air Transat, voted 2024 World's Best Leisure Airline by Skytrax, inaugurates its seasonal flights to Tulum, with three weekly departures from Montreal and one from Québec City, from December to April. With an already established presence in Acapulco, Cancún, Cozumel, and Puerto Vallarta, the airline is expanding its offerings to southern Mexico, a popular region for travel enthusiasts.
Adjustment of airport improvement fees and aeronautical charges for 2025

Québec City, September 26, 2024 – Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB) announced today an adjustment to some of its fees as of January 1, 2025. Indeed, airport improvement fees (AIF) will increase from $35 to $40 for passengers boarding flights departing from YQB. The amounts of aeronautical charges have also been adjusted, as they are every year, taking into account inflation in recent years.

Service to Dallas-Fort Worth Will Boost Regional Tourism

Québec City, August 9, 2025 – Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB), Destination Québec cité, and the City of Québec are delighted that American Airlines is adding to its service from Québec City, particularly with a new direct route between Québec City and Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. Starting today, American will offer a direct flight every Saturday between YQB and Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), until November 1, 2025. American will operate non-stop service to DFW with Embraer 175 aircraft that feature premium cabins.

Québec City, August 10, 2024 — Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB), Destination Québec cité, and the Port of Québec are very pleased that American Airlines, the world’s largest airline, has decided to add Charlotte to its selection of flights from Québec City. From now until November 2nd, 2024, American Airlines will offer one direct flight a week to North Carolina’s Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) on Saturdays, adding to its existing flights from YQB to Philadelphia and Chicago.
Air Canada Offers Québec City Region a New Hotspot for This Winter with Non-stop Flights to Tulum

Montreal, June 26, 2024 - Air Canada announced today it will launch new weekly flights from Québec City to Tulum, Mexico's newest airport in the Yucatan peninsula, beginning Dec. 13, 2024. The airline will also resume non-stop services from Québec City for winter 2024-25 to popular sun destinations: Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Punta Cana and Cancun.
