COVID-19 health measures - YQB Achieves Global Accreditation for Excellence of its Practices

Québec City, November 20, 2020. – The health measures in place at Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB) since the start of the global COVID-19 pandemic have earned it the Airport Health Accreditation global seal of excellence from Airports Council International (ACI).
YQB Maintains Airport Fee Freeze

PUBLIC NOTICE Québec City, November 7, 2020 – For the fourth consecutive year, Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB) will not be increasing its airport improvement fees or general aviation fees in 2021, even though the airport has been hit hard by the global COVID-19 pandemic. Parking fees will also remain unchanged.

YQB Annual General Meeting - A pivotal year, slowed momentum, and the agility to reinvent ourselves

Québec City, June 22, 2020 – 2019 was a pivotal year for Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB). It celebrated an 18th consecutive year of growth, a new record of 1,789,005 passengers, a significant improvement in its air service, a change in senior management, a markedly more agile organizational structure, and a new strategic plan focused on diversifying revenue streams. Not to mention the largest construction project in the airport’s history, which was successfully completed on time and on budget.

Lise Lapierre elected Chair of the YQB Board of Directors

Québec City, April 22, 2020 – At its meeting on April 21, 2020, the Board of Directors of Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB) elected Lise Lapierre as its new Chair. Ms. Lapierre has been a director since 2012 and served as the Vice-Chair of the Board until her nomination. She succeeds Jean-Claude Labbé, who has chaired the Board for the past year and whose third and final term as director ended in 2020.
